We are excited to work with you to design stunning florals for your special wedding day.  

We will contact you by email or phone to organise your free one-on-one wedding consultation
and secure a date for your wedding booking.

Weddings - terms and conditions


You may cancel your booking/secured date 30 days or more before your wedding date: we will return all payments to your nominated bank account within 14 days.


If you cancel your booking less than 30 days before your booking date, we will refund your payments, minus fees for supplies purchased for your wedding. 




We understand that some things are out of your control and you may need to change your booking date. 


If Purple Petals Florist is available, we will change your booking date, but we still need 30 days' notice of the new date.


We will cancel your current booking and reschedule a date convenient for you and Purple Petals Florist. We will keep all payments and apply them to your new booking.


If the date change is within two (2) weeks of your booked wedding date, we will only provide a partial refund because we will have ordered and paid for the stock from suppliers.


A booking is secured upon you paying the deposit and agreeing to the terms and conditions listed below.


You must pay your deposit at least 30 days before your booking date.


Payment can be by cash, direct debit or credit card (please note: there is a 1% fee on all credit card transactions). 


# The balance is payable into our nominated bank account no later than 30 days before your booking date. 


If you have not paid the balance 30 days before your booking, Purple Petals Florist will allow a grace period of 2 weeks (14 days) before full payment is due.


If we have not received the outstanding balance by the due date, we will cancel your booking and supply nothing.


You should book your wedding a minimum of 8 weeks before your date; this gives us time to pre-order flowers, materials, stock and reserve your special day in our calendar.  


If you wish to supply the images that we post on our social media pages, please provide us with the photographer's name so that we can include it for copyright purposes.


The cut-off date for final changes to the wedding plan is no later than 30 days (4 weeks) before your wedding date.


If you wish for strings of lights draped through your table centrepiece, you must discuss this before the cut-off date.



Purple Petals Florist will have contacted your ceremony venue, reception venue or church to touch base concerning times/policies for us to enter their premises and set up.


We will only set up what is stated in our contract. 


  • Preparation, delivery, setup, installation, and collection on public holidays will attract a surcharge. 




# Purple Petals Florist will make every effort to deliver flowers as ordered. Circumstances will arise that are out of our control (flowers types or colours may be unavailable, weather, transport, flowers orders).


# If an issue arises, Purple Petals Florist will only discuss and communicate the next steps with the bride or the groom. Purple Petals Florist will have absolutely no communication with friends or family concerning any issues.


Purple Petals Florist will not be held accountable for flowers size or colour and will not issue a refund this basis.


  • The colour and size of all flowers will vary with each season, and they can be slightly lighter or brighter, larger or smaller. Purple Petals Florist accepts no responsibility for these variations, which are out of our control. As flowers are a natural product, no two flowers are the same.

  • All flowers and foliage products are subject to seasonal availability; if we need to replace them with an alternative flower, we will ring you to discuss options.

  • Once the florals are delivered, you are accepting you are happy with said florals provided.

Purple Petals Florist does not accept any liability for any flowers perishing quickly in cases of extreme heat or any incorrect storage after delivery/setup/installations are made. 


We will not be responsible or held liable for:

  • any unseen damage or incidents arising from persons entering your venues after we have finished delivery/setup/installations

  • or harm or the destruction of your florals,

  • or any unforeseen incident that may occur,


Once delivered and set up, we are no longer responsible for florals.


Purple Petals Florist will not be liable for any emotional, physical or financial distress due to unforeseen circumstances regarding this contract.
